Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Superintendent in Kansas City, MO to develop and execute complex project plans, lead the project team, manage schedules, budgets, safety, quality, and subcontractor coordination on high‑value commercial work.

This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, Lean construction knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with owners, architects, and field staff to deliver results and drive the project forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 12+ years construction experience.
• 10+ years field supervision experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and ensures injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs such as Safety, Quality and EEO.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates and manages care, custody and control of the project site.
