Job summary

Yates Construction is seeking a Superintendent - Datacenter in Jackson, GA to monitor, direct and coordinate field operations for a concrete project. You will lead a management team with project management and engineers, ensuring safety, schedule and budget targets are met and mentoring junior staff.

You will coordinate with owners representatives and subcontractors, manage manpower, plan logistics, and drive safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Substitution of other education, training or work experience for bachelor’s degree may be acceptable.
• Minimum of six (6) years industry experience.
• Experience managing scopes >$1MM and strong scheduling knowledge.
• Ability to read and understand specs, blueprints, manuals and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with owners representatives, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Schedule activities of tradespeople and coordinate project staff to deliver assignments.
• Conduct preconstruction meetings with subcontractors before each phase.
• Plan manpower and personnel needs onsite.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Oversee safety, quality, risk, and budget for the project.
• Manage site equipment logistics (cranes, trailers, trucks).
• Oversee weekly field activities and review progress against plan.
• Review documents and drawings to develop scopes of work.
• Develop and maintain site logistics and scopes for trades.
• Perform constructability reviews and progress tracking.
