Job summary

W. G. Yates & Sons Construction Company is seeking a Project Manager for Data Center/Mission Critical projects in Jackson, GA.

The role covers full project management from planning through completion, with responsibility for client relations, subcontractor oversight and maintaining quality, safety and profitability. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in commercial construction management, strong leadership and advanced knowledge of BIM, Primavera, Excel, Word and MS Project.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
10 years of commercial construction management experience required.
Experience managing multiple datacenter projects ($100M+).
Strong leadership, negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

Leading safety culture for the project.
Control costs and maintain profitability through heavy construction oversight.
Manage field construction activity, engineering and project support.
Develop and monitor project schedules, review progress and productivity.
Coordinate with subcontractors to align with scope and specs.
Interface with architects, inspectors, and owner representatives to resolve issues.
Monitor purchasing, quality control and regulatory compliance.
Conduct regular project meetings and plan future construction activity.
