Job summary

Yates Construction in Jackson, GA seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead on-site construction for a datacenter, guiding safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives with the Project Manager and leadership.

You will mentor field staff, coordinate trades, manage CPM look-aheads, review drawings, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company procedures across complex multi-phase work. Experience with $250MM+ projects and strong relationship-building with owners and designers is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may substitute.
• 8–10 years of industry experience with leadership of major scopes or full projects.
• Experience managing scopes or projects valued at $250MM+.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and construction sequencing knowledge.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for major project scopes or full project execution.
• Coordinate and schedule trades, subcontractors, and labor.
• Lead preconstruction and coordination meetings with stakeholders.
• Direct Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and Foremen toward project goals.
• Develop and manage CPM schedule with short-term look-aheads.
• Monitor safety, quality, and compliance; conduct site inspections.
• Mentor junior field staff and maintain professional client relations.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and project requirements.
• Review drawings, specs, and contract documents for constructability.
