Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Superintendent 3 to plan, manage and execute on projects of moderate complexity. You will lead the team, develop construction sequencing and ensure timely, profitable completion, aligning with JE Dunn’s strategy, vision and values.

You will drive safety, quality and coordination with owners, design teams and subcontractors while managing cost control and schedules across multiple trades.

Qualifications

• 8+ years construction experience.
• 5+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience with Lean principles (Preferred).
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• May require periods of travel and/or relocation.
• Must be willing to work non‑traditional hours to meet project needs.
• Frequent activity: Standing, Walking, Climbing, Bending, Reaching above Shoulder, Pushing, Pulling.
• Occasional activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and mentors others.
• Manages subcontractors and organizes overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self‑performed work.
• Coordinates and manages site care, custody and control.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Creates and manages the project schedule with the Project Manager.
• Monitors budget and costs using project reports.
• Ensures quality compliance through specifications and QA/QC.
• Supports project closeouts and owner coordination.
