Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Superintendent 3 to plan, manage and execute on assigned projects with moderate complexity. You will lead the project team, coordinate safety, quality and scheduling, and ensure profitable completion in line with JE Dunn's strategy and values.

You will oversee subcontractors, manage equipment and materials, track costs, and participate in frequent progress meetings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years construction experience.
• 5+ years field supervision experience.
• Lean principles experience preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff to maintain an injury‑free environment.
• Manages subcontractors, workflow and project staff.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self‑performed work.
• Coordinates and manages project site care, custody and control.
• Leads meetings and manages project schedule with the Project Manager.
• Monitors budget and costs using the project management system.
• Communicates important project information to owners, design team and vendors.
• Supports procurement processes and formwork/equipment selection.
• Identifies and recruits top talent and promotes diversity.
