Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Superintendent to plan, manage and execute complex construction projects in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on leading safety culture, coordinating subcontractors, and driving project delivery to meet timelines and profitability, in alignment with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The Senior Superintendent will develop and control work plans, manage schedules, monitor costs, and ensure quality throughout the life cycle of multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 10+ years construction experience with supervision background.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects is a plus.
• Must have valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors, staff, suppliers and program safety, quality and EEO.
• Develops work plans and schedules, coordinates site work and materials.
• Oversees project budget, cost reporting and change management.
• Lectures staff and conducts meetings to review progress and issues.
• Supports closeouts and project pursuit processes.
