Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead, direct and coordinate subcontractors on our Philadelphia project. You will ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality of work and adherence to budget while supervising field teams.

Responsibilities include creating and sequencing work, resolving field issues with owners, engineers and architects, and managing WIP, payrolls and supplier invoices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus at least four years of related construction experience.
• Knowledge of building construction methods, scheduling and cost control.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings and specs.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and staffing levels.
• Coordinate trades to maintain project schedule and resolve field issues.
• Manage the site safety program and subcontractor compliance.
• Develop and mentor Assistant Supervisors and interns.
• Create schedules and determine sequencing of work; implement recovery plans.
