Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead subcontractors on a Philadelphia project. You will ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality of work, and adherence to budget while supervising Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and interns.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least four years of related experience in building construction, with proficiency in MS Office and EH&S tools. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years of related construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with attention to safety and budget compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and staffing for trades.
• Coordinate activities across trades to ensure coordinated project operations.
• Manage site safety program and subcontractor compliance with Turner standards and regulations.
• Supervise and developAssistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and Interns; participate in performance appraisals.
• Create and adjust schedules, develop recovery strategies to maintain the project timeline.
• Communicate with owners and architects/engineers on field issues and resolutions.
• Manage billing processes related to WIP, payrolls, invoices and subcontractor payments.
