Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking anexperienced Construction Superintendent for on-site leadership in Philadelphia, PA. You will lead subcontractors and Turner trade labor to ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality, and budget adherence on the project.

Responsibilities include coordinating trades, resolving field issues, and maintaining compliance with contract documents. A Bachelor's degree and at least four years of related experience are required; strong leadership and interpersonal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of four years' related experience or training.
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications, including Microsoft Office Suite and EH&S applications.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings and specifications; demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and staffing levels.
• Coordinate with trades to promote a coordinated project operation and resolve procedural issues.
• Manage site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner standards and safety codes.
• Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Interns as assigned.
• Create schedules, determine sequencing of work, and implement recovery strategies to keep the project on track.
• Communicate with owners and architects/engineers about field issues and resolutions.
• Manage billing related to Work In Place (WIP) and oversee monthly estimates, payrolls, invoices, and payments to subcontractors.
