Job summary

Hargrove seeks an experienced Planning and Scheduling professional to lead heavy industrial project planning, cost control, and estimating efforts. You will develop and refine schedules for contract packages, monitor progress, and support change management while coordinating with engineers and field teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in planning/scheduling, strong Primavera P6 and MS Project skills, and a solid understanding of Earned Value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating.
• Strong communication and coordination with engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Developing schedules and analysis for contract packages to forecast construction activities and identify coordination issues.
• Developing, monitoring and updating schedules by obtaining updates through meetings, construction coordination interviews and field verification.
• Complete understanding of Earned Value and Project Productivity.
• Monitoring and maintaining the change notice/change order management system and assisting in hearings/meetings.
• Developing, monitoring, and updating schedules and establishing a progressive system for projects.
• Assisting clients and teammates in developing construction and contract strategies for constructability, logistics and safety.
• Assisting in quantity analysis for duration of activities and estimating purposes.
