Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Richmond, VA seeks an experienced planner/scheduler to lead project controls for heavy industrial projects. You will develop detailed construction schedules, monitor progress, manage change notices, and contribute to estimating efforts for multiple packages.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience, a construction science degree (bachelor's or higher preferred), and strong skills in Primavera P6, MS Project, and cost reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating.
• Strong understanding of construction project controls and cost reporting.
• Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project and Timberline Estimating.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and analysis for contract packages to forecast construction activities and identify conflicts.
• Monitor and update schedules from meetings and field verification.
• Maintain the change notice/change order management system and facilitate hearings.
• Develop estimates for construction projects including change notices.
• Maintain cost systems and produce cost reports.
