Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior project scheduler to lead scheduling on large construction programs, coordinating schedules with contractors and internal teams. The role is onsite in California, requiring deep CPM and EVM expertise to support cost and timeline forecasting.

You will review schedules, assess changes, and prepare narratives for management decisions while ensuring adherence to contract policies and project timelines.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or other related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera Scheduling Software, MS Office Applications including Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate project schedules based on execution strategies.
• Review contractor schedules for contract compliance and quality assurance.
• Assess change orders and amendments for their impact on cost and timelines.
• Conduct time impact analyses to evaluate delays and claims.
• Support and participate in change order negotiations.
• Perform CPM and Earned Value Management (EVM) analyses.
• Identify schedule-related issues and recommend corrective actions or innovative solutions.
• Conduct site visits to monitor and report on project progress.
• Review contractor schedule updates and prepare narratives for management decision-making.
• Evaluate contractor recovery plans and determine schedule feasibility.
• Create cost-loaded schedules for accurate cash flow forecasting.
• Apply contract policies within guidelines and communicate findings effectively.
• Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
