Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera and MS Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of cost engineering and scheduling principles.
• Experience with time impact analyses, construction claims and change orders.
• Flexibility to work at multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation of project schedules based on defined execution philosophies.
• Perform contractor schedule reviews for conformance and QA.
• Evaluate change orders for budget and schedule impact.
• Perform time impact analysis of schedule delays and potential claims.
• Participate in change order negotiations.
• Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses.
• Identify schedule problems and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct site visits for progress reporting.
• Review contractor progress and present findings to management.
• Review recovery schedules and perform cost analysis for capital projects.
• Analyze actual expenditures versus budget; prepare cost-loaded schedule for cash flow.
• Understand and apply Build LACCD contracts, policies, procedures.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally; work schedule flexible.
