We are seeking a seasoned Safety Specialist to implement company and client safety policies and drive performance improvements on multiple projects. The role requires 5+ years in construction safety, a Bachelor degree in Safety and Health, and CHST or related certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Safety and Health or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with safety and health in the construction industry.
• CHST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing strategies to reduce injuries and incidents.
• Provide safety training and education to personnel.
• Support pre-job safety planning and emergency response plans.
• Lead safety meetings and training programs.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Investigate injuries and incidents and document findings.
• Disseminate safety updates and regulatory changes.
• Identify personnel needing assistance meeting safety requirements.
• Coordinate safety programs with subcontractors and vendors.
• Serve as point of contact for OSHA and other authorities when needed.
