Job summary

Kokosing seeks an experienced safety leader to drive and monitor its Safety and Health Program across projects in the United States. You will guide the implementation of the Safety 24/7 program, coach safety staff, and ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations.

You will lead audits, investigations, training, and policy development, partnering with Operations and Safety leaders to reduce injuries and incidents in a high-production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in safety and health in construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the Safety and Health Program at assigned location.
• Ensure regulatory compliance per Safety and Health Management System.
• Coach safety staff and operations managers to implement corrective actions.
• Investigate injuries and incidents and develop prevention strategies.
• Provide safety meetings and training programs for project teams.
• Develop safety policies and procedures with Safety Director and VP of Safety.
