Job summary

Acousti Engineering Company of Florida is seeking a Safety Manager in Columbia, SC to implement and grow comprehensive safety programs across multiple sites. The role focuses on protecting employees, subcontractors, and assets, enforcing compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, and mentoring field teams to foster a culture of safety excellence.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in construction safety, BCSP STSC and OSHA certifications, and experience with JSAs/SSSPs, fall

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of construction safety experience in drywall, framing, and ACT environments.
• Experience leading safety operations across multiple job sites.
• Strong background with subcontractors and enforcing site safety compliance.
• Proficiency in developing JSAs and SSSPs.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety policies across locations and job sites.
• Conduct site inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and review Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs) and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
• Coordinate and lead safety stand-down meetings and toolbox talks.
• Provide safety mentorship to field personnel and subcontractors.
• Ensure proper use of fall protection systems, scaffolding, and aerial equipment.
• Manage incident reporting, investigation processes, and root cause analysis.
• Conduct new hire and ongoing safety training, including leadership topics.
• Stay current with OSHA regulations and ensure company-wide compliance.
• Assist with bilingual safety content delivery and documentation.
