Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Senior Safety Manager for a project site in Lebenon, IN. You will lead the Safety and Health Program, drive regulatory compliance, coach safety staff, and partner with operations to reduce injuries.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in safety and health and 10+ years in construction safety, plus OSHA/MSHA/DOT/EPA knowledge; proficient in MS Office and Power BI; strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in safety and health in the construction industry preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT and EPA regulations and company safety policies/procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the Company Safety and Health Program at assigned location.
• Operational leadership to guide safety staff during daily operations.
• Supervise, mentor, and manage safety staff; promote teamwork and accountability.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections; coach teams on corrective actions.
