Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a seasoned EHS leader to develop and manage project safety plans aligned with OSHA regulations. You will drive risk assessments, inspections, and training across client sites in Virginia, coordinating with contractors and Owners.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in OH&S/Construction/Engineering and 10+ years in construction safety, including 3+ years at senior level. On-site work with clients is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, or engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in construction/safety management, preferably within a data center or mission critical facilities.
• 3+ years of senior level safety management or design management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and manage project-specific EHS plans aligned with Global Construction Safety Policy and OSHA regulations.
• Oversee prevention strategies and controls for high-risk activities (e.g., working at heights, electrical work, confined space).
• Ensure risk assessments (including HRAs) are conducted at all levels and integrated into schedules and planning.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and oversee HRA controls, documenting findings and corrective actions.
• Investigate and report incidents, injuries, and near-misses with root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Lead weekly safety meetings, participate in safety committees, and foster a positive safety culture.
