Job summary

Accenture Construct seeks an experienced EHS Safety Manager to develop, review and manage project-specific EHS Plans, aligned with OSHA regulations, across data center and mission critical facilities. You will lead risk assessments, inspections, incident investigations and ensure compliance with safety policies on client sites.

Onsite at Kokomo, IN, Indianapolis, IN or La Porte, IN sites, you will coordinate with contractors, deliver training, report metrics, and foster a proactive safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, or engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in construction/safety management, preferably within a data center or mission critical facilities.
• 3+ years of senior level safety management or design management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and manage project-specific EHS Plans aligned with the Global Construction Safety Policy and OSHA regulations.
• Oversee prevention strategies and controls for high-risk activities.
• Ensure risk assessments are conducted at all levels and integrated into schedules.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and supervise HRA controls.
• Investigate and report incidents, injuries, and near-misses with root-cause analysis.
• Lead weekly safety meetings and safety committees, fostering a positive safety culture.
• Prepare monthly safety management reports with incident summaries and improvements.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and Owner to verify compliance and participate in meetings.
• Deliver safety orientation and maintain training records; sign off on EHS Plan compliance.
• Onsite work at client sites with in-person collaboration and flexible work-life support.
