Job summary
The Beck Group in Dallas seeks a Senior Safety Coordinator to lead safety programs across multiple projects. You will collaborate with project staff and subcontractors to develop, implement, and monitor safety protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and Beck’s Zero Accident Plan.
This role requires 5+ years in construction safety, OSHA 500, and a related degree or equivalent experience. You will conduct training, investigations, weekly site inspections, and maintain safety
Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction safety leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations including OSHA 29 CFR 1926 for construction safety.
- OSHA 500 certification.
- College degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a project safety program and team.
- Attend meetings with project staff and subcontractors to define safety roles.
- Conduct weekly jobsite safety meetings and document outcomes.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses; generate root-cause reports and corrective actions.
- Maintain comprehensive safety documentation across multiple projects.
