Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety programs across our construction projects. You will lead safety professionals, collaborate with project staff and subcontractors, and drive adherence to Beck’s Zero Accident Plan.

Ideal candidates bring 5–8 years in construction safety, OSHA knowledge, and a CHST or higher certification, with a bachelor's degree preferred. Proficiency with Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, and CMiC is advantageous.

Qualifications

Minimum 5-8 years of progressive experience in construction safety with leadership responsibilities.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations including OSHA 29 CFR 1926 for construction safety.
BCSP CHST or higher designation; a bachelor's degree is desirable or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor safety professionals, providing guidance and development.
Collaborate with project staff and subcontractors to define safety roles at project level.
Conduct and document weekly safety meetings with subcontractor reps.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Beck's Zero Accident Plan.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses and generate corrective action reports.
Perform weekly jobsite inspections and implement corrective measures.
Deliver safety training sessions at all levels and conduct safety orientations.
Maintain organized safety documentation and review subcontractor safety training.
