Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety programs across our construction projects. You will mentor safety professionals, collaborate with project staff and subcontractors, and drive adherence to Beck’s Zero Accident Plan.

Ideal candidates bring 5–8 years of construction safety experience, strong OSHA knowledge, and a BCSP CHST designation. Proficiency with Excel, Procore, Bluebeam and CMiC is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of progressive experience in construction safety.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards (29 CFR 1926) for construction safety.
• BCSP CHST or higher designation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with construction software such as Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, and CMiC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of safety professionals.
• Define safety roles at the project level aligned with Beck’s Zero Accident Plan.
• Conduct pre-planning safety meetings and site inspections.
• Investigate incidents and document root causes and corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and orientation programs across employee levels.
• Maintain organized safety documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices.
