Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety programs across our construction projects. You will lead safety professionals, collaborate with project staff and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and Beck’s Zero Accident Plan.

You will conduct incident investigations, lead weekly safety meetings, deliver training, and maintain comprehensive safety documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of progressive experience in construction safety with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1926) for construction safety.
• BCSP CHST or higher designation is required or highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is desired, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of safety professionals.
• Collaborate with project staff and subcontractors to define safety roles at the project level.
• Conduct pre-planning safety meetings with subcontractors and competent persons.
• Establish weekly safety meetings with subcontractor representatives.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, generate reports and corrective actions.
• Perform weekly jobsite safety inspections with documented violations and corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training sessions and orientation programs for employees and trade partners.
• Review subcontractor safety training documentation and maintain safety records.
