Job summary

SpaceX is building Terafab, a large-scale semiconductor facility, and seeks a Sr. Environmental Health & Safety Engineer to drive construction safety programs across the site. You will lead contractor safety, review procedures, and work with cross-functional teams to prevent incidents.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in construction safety within high-risk environments and the ability to influence across disciplines. Occasional travel and extended hours are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years designing and operating environmental, health and safety programs with emphasis on construction safety.
• Experience leading multi-site or multi-contractor construction safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve construction safety and contractor management programs for Terafab.
• Lead daily safety engagements with employees and contractors to drive safe operations.
• Review safety policies and provide guidance to management and project teams.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to reduce risk.
