SpaceX is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety professional to lead construction safety programs for the Terafab site in Texas. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing, developing and overseeing EHS programs with emphasis on construction safety
• Bachelor degree with construction safety emphasis preferred
• Experience leading multi-site or multi-contractor construction safety programs in high-risk environments
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local construction safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve construction safety and contractor management programs across Terafab site
• Lead daily safety engagements with employees and contractors to drive safe operations
• Create, review and approve Purchase Orders and manage the construction safety program budget
• Develop practical solutions to improve site safety and reduce incident rates
• Investigate mishaps and implement sustainable risk reduction plans
• Ensure EHS policies are understood and followed by project teams, clients and contractors
• Collaborate with project teams and contractors to foster a strong safety culture
• Interpret new safety laws and regulations and provide guidance to management
• Provide training on JHAs, safe work procedures, contractor onboarding, permits to work, and risk management tools
• Hold routine Contractor Safety Steering Reviews to drive EHS performance across contractor groups
• Perform audits, pre-task planning reviews, and risk assessments to measure performance and drive improvements
