Job summary

Ardmore Roderick in Lisle, IL is seeking a Construction and Risk Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team on transportation and bridge projects. You will oversee risk programs, claims, and constructability reviews while coordinating with Tollway and client teams.

Hybrid work options may apply depending on project needs. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree with PE in Illinois preferred, and 15+ years of leadership in transportation projects, plus strong communication and mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited civil engineering program.
• Experience with roadway design and interstate pavement construction.
• Ability to lead civil engineering staff from design through construction.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of staff and subconsultant staff to deliver high-quality projects.
• Attend client and team meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor staff and oversee risk programs and constructability reviews.
• Oversee Tollway risk management and warranty/claims processes.
• Coordinate development and implementation of risk programs.
