Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to lead the program-wide quality effort for a major project or multiple concurrent projects. You own the QC system, audit program, and owner interactions, directing Quality Managers and inspectors across sites.

You will drive the corrective-action program, approve QC plans, and report quality metrics to program leadership monthly. This is a senior, on-site role with travel per diems as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• Senior certification: USACE CQM-C plus ICC special inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications; report metrics monthly.
