Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, owning the site QMS, audit program, and the development of every QC person on the project. You coordinate with the owner's quality organization and lead audits with inspectors reporting through you.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector (multiple categories).
• NICET Level IV or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE; experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001 or DOT QA.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program and approve QC plans and subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics to program leadership monthly.
