Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE or NAVFAC requirements.

You will write the project QC plan, run three-phase control meetings, and supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians, coordinating lab testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, DOT or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by owner/agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for each feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians; assign daily coverage and review reports.
• Run nonconformance and corrective-action process and present in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
