Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the quality control program on large multi-phase projects, including heavy civil and federal work under USACE or NAVFAC quality requirements. Field inspectors report to you.

Qualifications

6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
2+ years supervising inspectors.
Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs.
Ability to articulate findings clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Write and maintain the project quality control plan and secure acceptance by the owner or agency.
Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians; assign daily coverage and review reports.
Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
