Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to run the QC program on large or multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE or NAVFAC standards. You will write the project QC plan, lead three-phase control meetings, supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians, and be the point of contact for the owner's QA representatives on test results and NCRs.

Travel to active job sites is required; a valid driver's license is necessary.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• Experience with USACE/NAVFAC/DOT quality programs.
• Clear, decisive written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review reports.
• Manage nonconformance and corrective actions in NCR meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications.
