Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the on-site QC program for large-scale heavy civil, industrial, or federal projects under USACE/NAVFAC quality requirements.

You will write and defend the QC plan, run three-phase control meetings, and liaise with the owner's QA representative while owning the testing and NCR process across subcontractors. A valid driver’s license and on-site presence are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• Experience supervising inspectors.
• USACE/NAVFAC/DOT or industrial owner QC programs experience.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review their reports.
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
