Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the project quality control program on large or multi‑phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE/NAVFAC. You will write the QC plan, run three‑phase control meetings, and own NCRs with the owner QA representative.

You will supervise inspectors and technicians, coordinate lab testing and certifications, and ensure compliance with contract requirements across subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians; assign daily coverage and review reports.
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
