Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to run the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or USACE/NAVFAC work. You will write the project QC plan, lead three-phase meetings, and oversee testing and approvals.

You will supervise QC inspectors, coordinate testing and certifications, manage NCRs, and report to owners and subcontractors with data-driven results.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs.
• Writes clearly and communicates effectively in high-stakes meetings.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review their reports.
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
