Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to lead QA/QC on large or multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal programs under USACE/NAVFAC standards.

You will write the project quality control plan, run three-phase meetings, supervise QC inspectors, and coordinate testing and certifications while communicating data-driven results to the owner's QA representative.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection with 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs.
• Clear writing and ability to hold the line with superintendents and owner representatives.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review their reports.
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
