Job summary

Marker, Inc. in Bellefontaine, Ohio, seeks a Construction Project Superintendent to lead on-site activities and manage medium to large projects.

The role reports to the Vice President of Construction and requires exceptional leadership, safety oversight, and adherence to plans and budgets. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of field construction experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades while maintaining schedule and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years construction field experience.
• Minimum 5 years of field experience as a Foreperson or Assistant Supervisor.
• High School graduate with post-high school training preferred.

Responsibilities

• On-site management of all site activity.
• Ensure safety and a safe work environment for personnel.
• Plan and coordinate the work across trades.
• Provide direction to contractors and field staff.
• Conduct pre-installation meetings for all project phases.
• Read contracts to understand responsibilities and requirements.
• Monitor job costs with the budget and plan to stay under it.
• Maintain payroll records and submit to Payroll via Procore.
• Complete daily reports and track project schedule.
• Supervise self-performed work and coordinate with the project team.
• Maintain site cleanliness and security of equipment.
• Keep as-built drawings updated and accurate.
• Monitor quality and correct non-conforming work promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
