Job summary

Marker Construction seeks a Construction Project Superintendent in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on on-site management, safety, and coordination with contractors to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

You will lead a collaborative team, read contract documents, monitor quality, and maintain complete project records, ensuring efficient site operations and communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years construction field experience.
• Minimum 5 years of field experience as a Foreperson or Assistant Supervisor.
• High School graduate with 2 years or more post-high school training preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Procore.
• Ability to manage site logistics, scheduling, and cost control.
• Excellent leadership and communication with architects, engineers, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Be on-site and manage all activity on the site.
• Ensure safety and a safe work environment for all personnel.
• Plan and coordinate the work and provide direction to contractors.
• Read contract documents to understand responsibilities and requirements.
• Maintain and update as-built drawings and project paperwork.
• Monitor quality and ensure work meets standards and schedule.
• Lead Marker’s self-performed associates when needed.
• Maintain site cleanliness and security.
