Job summary

Clark Construction is seeking a Project Scheduler in Reno, NV to lead planning and scheduling on high impact commercial projects. The role involves analyzing drawings, preparing baselines, and monitoring schedules while collaborating with owners, subs, and the operations team.

You’ll drive analytics, support bid schedules, and deliver project controls training. Travel to sites and involvement in corporate initiatives are expected as part of Clark's high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related discipline preferred.
• 4+ years scheduling experience on commercial construction projects.
• Proven track record implementing strategic initiatives.
• Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
• Skilled at developing and maintaining relationships with owners, subcontractors and teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement Planning & Scheduling Best Practices.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and statements of work to prepare baseline schedules for construction.
• Monitor multiple project schedules and guide operations as needed.
• Interact with Operations and represent Clark and partners to owners and subs.
• Support conceptual bid/proposal schedules with executive management.
• Use analytics to identify project trends and report findings.
• Cost and load manpower schedules for project execution.
• Evaluate actual progress relative to plan and impact of changes.
• Prepare Time Impact Analyses per standard practices.
• Travel to project sites as required.
• Develop and deliver Planning, Scheduling and Project Controls training.
• Suggest improvements to policies and procedures; handle special projects.
