Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in New York, NY to oversee projects from planning through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and stakeholder communication, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in construction management, strong leadership, and proficiency with Procore, MS Project, and Primavera. This is an in-person, on-site role with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of experience managing commercial/residential/industrial construction projects.
• Procore, MS Project and Primavera experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification; PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and on-site labor, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and purchase orders.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and permitting requirements.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and daily reports.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; resolve delays or budget overruns.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to leadership and clients.
• Coordinate with estimating and procurement teams during bidding and material sourcing.
