Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Project Manager for a construction division in New York City, overseeing projects from concept through completion. You will manage planning, scheduling, budgets, and coordination with architects, contractors, and property teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The role requires 5–10 years field experience in construction, strong knowledge of budgets, schedules, and compliance with safety standards. On-site presence in NYC is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or technical training with 5–10 years field experience as a Project Manager.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specs; generate scope from plans and review shop drawings.
• Experience with project insurance compliance and coordinating with legal/insurance teams.
• Proficiency with construction drawings, MEPS knowledge, and coordinating design/engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction project from design through completion.
• Develop budgets and schedules; manage contracts, RFIs, and submittals.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
