Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Project Manager for a construction-focused role in New York, NY. You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation across all phases of construction.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors, ensure safety compliance, and deliver precise reporting to executives. This on-site position requires strong leadership and a track record of delivering complex builds on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or technical training.
Experience as Project Manager in construction (5–10 years).
Ability to read and interpret Plans & Specs; develop scope from plans and specs.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and oversee construction projects from conception to completion.
Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial controls.
Read contracts, process change orders, and deliver regular financial reporting.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders; communicate progress and issues.
Monitor safety, insurance requirements, and site compliance; ensure proper filings and permits.
