Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners in New York City seeks an experienced Project Manager for the construction division. You will oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and project accounting while ensuring quality standards and on-time delivery.

Reporting to the Project Executive, you will coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and internal teams; manage budgets, RFIs, submittals, and safety plans; review deliverables with clients and maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or technical training plus 5 to 10 years field experience as a Project Manager with an established construction firm.
• Solid conceptual estimating experience within the construction industry in commercial and/or multi-family residential; commercial to residential conversion.
• Read and interpret plans and specs; generate scope requirements from plans and specs; review shop drawings and submittals.
• Ensure Project Insurance Compliance and assist in engaging insurance managers as requested; read and follow up on certifications.

Responsibilities

• Chart out project objectives and plans while setting performance requirements and selecting project participants.
• Oversee the construction project in every phase from conceptual design through completion.
• Develop early budgets and schedules; manage the project budget and track expenses; deliver project financial reporting.
• Process and manage contracts, change orders, and payment requisitions; maintain budgetary guidelines.
• Prepare site Health and Safety Plans; ensure safety requirements and inspect jobsites for deficiencies and corrections.
• Coordinate efforts of external stakeholders including architects, consultants, contractors, and laborers.
• Monitor progress and hold status meetings; ensure documents are complete and review deliverables with clients.
