Job summary

Ajax Building Company, part of the STO Building Group, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead planning and execution of complex projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will partner with field leadership, subs, and stakeholders to deliver safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You will report to the Project Executive and drive project performance, cost, and risk, serving as the owner, architect, and engineer liaison while ensuring program success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction project management or leading complex projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• General Contractor License preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, develop, and manage project personnel and resources.
• Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to meet schedule and budget.
• Develop and enforce project operating procedures and controls.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and proactive risk management.
• Review project performance and keep leadership informed of risks.
• Oversee procurement, materials, and equipment purchases.
• Act as the primary company representative to owners, architects, engineers.
• Oversee contract administration and approvals of costs.
• Audit activities from contract to closeout and warranty.
• Build relationships with teams, clients, subs, and partners.
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
