Job summary

Ajax Building Company is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. In this role, you will partner closely with field leadership, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and engineers, while actively managing project performance, cost, and risk to drive

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant construction project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• General Contractor License preferred.
• Strong understanding of industry practices and trends and their impact on the corporation.
• Advanced interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, develop, and manage project personnel per project needs.
• Lead overall project execution with field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Establish and implement project operating procedures for consistency and efficiency.
• Oversee development of budgets and schedules, manage risk and costs.
• Review performance reports to manage cost, schedule, quality, and safety.
• Manage procurement and approve material purchases and equipment.
• Serve as primary company representative in communications with owners, architects, engineers.
• Oversee contract administration and approvals for costs.
• Audit project activities from contract execution through closeout and warranty.
• Build strong relationships with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and partners.
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement via company initiatives.
