Job summary

Kokosing is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial construction initiatives in Ohio. You will direct project engineers, superintendents and foremen, ensuring safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery for water/wastewater and production facilities across diverse clients.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a solid background in civil construction management. The position emphasizes mentoring and coordination across the project team.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client to facilitate construction activities.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy.
• Confer with project staff to outline work plan, assign duties/responsibilities and authority.
• Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arrange personnel.
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure schedule and budget compliance.
• Review proposals to determine timeframe, funding and resources for phases.
• Monitor construction through on-site supervision to keep safety, schedule and budget.
• Represent company in Owner progress meetings.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts and project profitability or loss.
• Lead project team in daily field coordination, weekly block schedule, and monthly safety kickoff.
• Mentor and assist with career development of team members.
