Job summary

Kokosing is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead industrial construction projects in the Columbus area. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and field coordination, directing project engineers, superintendents, and foremen to meet safety, quality, and timeline goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, 10+ years of experience, and strong CPM scheduling and client liaison skills. PE is a strong plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10+ years of construction, design, finance, and management experience.
• PE credentialing is not required but a strong plus.
• Strong CPM scheduling, budgeting, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client to coordinate activities.
• Set objectives, policies, and performance standards within corporate policy.
• Assign duties/responsibilities and authority to project staff.
• Plan staffing for each phase and arrange recruitment as needed.
• Direct and coordinate activities to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Review proposals to determine timeframes, funding, and resources.
• Prepare reports for management and clients; resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate with governmental agencies and subcontractors; ensure safety.
