Job summary

Sundt Enterprise invites applications for a construction PM/Estimator role. The successful candidate will coordinate the bid and proposal process, establish work breakdown structures, and engage with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to provide bid and design support, value engineering, and schedule analysis.

The role requires extensive experience in construction contract documentation and PM/Estimating functions, with a track record of managing costs, procurement, and billing

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Step I: 5-7 yrs in construction contract documentation 3-5 yrs in a PM/Estimating role; Step II: 7-10 yrs in construction contract documentation with 5-7 yrs in a PM/Estimating role; Step Sr: 10+ yrs in const. contract docs with 7+ yrs in PM/Estimating.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the bid/proposal process.
• Establishes work breakdown structure and performs quantity surveys.
• Interfaces with owner, architect, engineer, contractors and subcontractors for bid/design assistance, value engineering, constructability review, and schedule analysis.
• Manages construction documentation (RFI's, ASI's, etc.).
• Manages project costs to meet or exceed target margins.
• Manages project procurement.
• Negotiates and awards contractors and purchase orders.
• Performs pricing of material, labor, equipment, and direct job expense to complete the estimate.
• Prepares and manages all billings.
• Reviews contractual requirements to determine scope of work.
