Job summary

Sundt Construction in Charleston, SC is seeking a seasoned Project Manager/Estimator to oversee assigned projects from bid through execution, ensuring safety, profitability and timely delivery.

You will coordinate bid/proposal, develop WBS, interface with owners, architects and subcontractors, manage documentation, costs and procurements, negotiate contracts, and drive pricing, billing, and compliance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Progression: 5–7 years in contract documentation with PM/Estimating exposure; senior levels require 10+ years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the bid/proposal process.
• Establishs work breakdown structure and performs quantity surveys.
• Interface with owner, architect, engineer, contractors and subcontractors for bid/design support, VE studies, constructability reviews, and schedule analysis.
• Manage construction documentation (RFIs, ASIs, etc.).
• Manage project costs to meet or exceed target margins.
• Manage project procurement and negotiate contracts/POs.
• Support company strategic planning initiatives.
• Price material, labor, equipment, and general conditions; prepare and manage all billings.
• Review contractual requirements to determine scope of work.
