Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Project Manager in Washington to act as the management representative on the project, ensuring safety, budget adherence, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction in alignment with contract documents.

The PM will lead pre-job planning, coordinate trade partners and vendors, manage costs, and maintain open communications with owners and stakeholders to drive on-time project success.

Qualifications

  • BS in CM/Engineering or related field with 5–10 years of construction PM experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong problem-solving and judgment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with trade partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling/estimating tools.
  • OSHA 10/30 preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety is integrated into planning and execution.
  • Lead pre-job planning, scheduling, and mobilization.
  • Coordinate trade partners, procurement, and vendors.
  • Manage project costs and schedule with monthly margin analysis.
  • Maintain owner communications and resolve issues.
  • Develop QC plan and supervise commissioning.
  • Mentor and develop project staff.
